Mom will be remembered for her kind nature, making sure everyone felt welcomed into her home and that no one left without a sampling of her delicious food. Her love and concern for her family was most important to her. Throughout her life, she enjoyed music, reading, writing poetry and laughing at good comedy. Rose's funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 5 at 10:30 a.m. in Silver Heights United Church, 199 Garrioch Ave. at Mount Royal Road. Interment will take place in St. Norbert Cemetery, St. Norbert, MB. Pallbearers will be John Nykon, Daniel Nykon, Stephen Nykon, Russ Swatek, David Swatek and Shawn Nykon. Our family wishes to express our sincere thanks to all the staff at Pembina Place Mennonite Personal Care Home for all their care, hard work and support while Mom was in residence.
