ALBERT MEIJERING Peacefully with the quiet grace that he lived his life, Albert Meijering at the age of 78, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2005 at the Deer Lodge Centre. He is survived by his children, Ina Reidulff (Jan), Erna Brisson (Gerald), Rudy (Sheila), Wilma Sternik (Pat) and Albert (Tzipporah); also numerous grandchildren and great-grand-children. He also leaves numerous relatives in Holland. He was predeceased by his wife Gertrude in 2003. Albert was born in Beilen, Holland and immigrated to Canada October 1953. He farmed for a number of years and then worked for Reimer Express Lines until his retirement in 1990. Albert was always active, he enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and looking after his wonderful garden. The family wishes to thank the staff of 4 West Deer Lodge Centre for their loving care and attention. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 4 at 2:00 p.m. at Deer Lodge Centre, 2109 Portage Ave. Private interment for family and friends will be held in Green Acres Cemetery.
