Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIE GAUTHIER 1933 - 2005 It is with our greatest sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our dad, our Pepere on April 29, 2005. He has been called home now by our great father and his beloved wife Pauline. He is survived by his children, Lillian (Jim Cinnamon), Michel Sr. (Rosa), Guy (Chippy) and Colette (Gary Schinkel); his grandchildren, Blair and Jason, Sheila and Michel Jr., Samantha, Adam and Justine; and his great-grandchildren, Zachary, Austin and Emma. He will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews and all the friends he has made through his lifetime. He was a great man who always put others before himself and was always there to lend a helping hand, a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen to. He was everything to his family, a challenging pool player, a joker to play practical tricks with and a great friend to have. He made friends very easily wherever he went and it showed within the last few years at Chesterfield House, a Kinsmen Housing Development. His love of card playing led to many enjoyable hours of companionship with all who lived there. His patience, loyalty and teachings will forever be cherished. We will miss him dearly. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, May 6 at 1:30 p.m. at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, 847 St. Mary's Rd. with viewing starting at 12:45 p.m. Interment and reception will follow at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, should friends so desire a donation in memory of Elie would be appreciated to Chesterfield Housing Development, B11-30 Chesterfield Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2M 1T6. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 885-9715 Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolence at www.chapellawn.mb.ca.

For me, my Uncle Elie was a man that has left his mark in my heart. He was a man that worked hard and played hard. He is one of the influences in my life that has made me who I am today. If anyone has ever needed a role model of someone with pride, strength and love, my uncle Elie was and is the person to follow. - Posted by: Dereck Gauthier (Family) on: May 06, 2005
