The world is a better place for you having been here even if for too short a time. "A Whiter Shade of Pale" will always bring a tear to my eye and a smile to my lips. - Posted by: Janis Nemeth (Friend) on: Mar 04, 2008

Brian's friends here in Kenora would like to express our sympathy to Mrs. Laudin, family members and friends located across the country. We will miss him and his sense of humour. Karen, Megan and I saw Brian a week ago at the ranch, where he was supervising maintenance activities while out on a day pass from the hospital. There was some concern expressed about leaving the smoldering pile of leaves unattended in order to return to the hospital. Karen told Brian that she'd "left bigger fires than that unattended", to which Brian added "And that was in the kitchen!" - Posted by: John Baldwin (Friend) on: May 21, 2005

Words cannot express the sorrow that I feel, to have a friend like Brian was the real deal. There is rarely a moment that I don't think of him, For now the light has truly dimmed. I miss you buddy! I hope that you have found that big ranch in the sky and it is marked by that neon beacon. Billy - Posted by: Bill Lorenzen (Friend) on: May 21, 2005

While Brian may be gone, we will remember him fondly and with greatest respect. His instinctiveness and intuition in knowing and reading people was amazing. "Lord Laudin of Lockport" or "StarBaby Commander", as we fondly referred to him, had some pet subects that we will always remember him by. Stories of his tractor, fondess for "convertible debentures" and his enthusiasim for a certain musician will make me chuckle every time I think of them. We are better for having known him. Fair winds, Brian, fair winds. You will not be forgotten. - Posted by: Lloyd and Sue (Co-Worker) on: May 07, 2005
