KATHLEEN (KAY) ADELINE DALY (nee ACKLAND) Kay was born in Winnipeg, November 6, 1924 and passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 2, 2005. She was predeceased by her parents, Edgar and Maude Ackland; sister Margery Ackland; and husband Jack Daly. She is survived by her sister Jo Carney of Vancouver; daughter Jill Daly; and son Brent Daly (Dorothy); and grandchildren, Quinn Erskine (Melody) of Winnipeg, and Erin Erskine (Jerry) of Windsor, ON. Mom devoted her life to her family, always putting others first. She shared many summers with family and friends at Victoria Beach. Together with Jack, they were the 'greatest' great-grandparents. Her sewing and cooking skills were always done with love. We will miss you Mom, but you struggled long enough. You deserve peace. A celebration of Kay's life will be held on Friday, May 6 at 1:00 p.m, in the Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway. A reception will follow.
