She would have turned 74 on Mother's Day. Connie will be forever remembered and loved by her husband Skeeter; daughter Debbie (Bob); sons, Tom (Tanya) and Jim; her beloved grandchildren, Jennifer, Stephen, Shawna and Betheni and her adoring pooch Pugs. Connie was predeceased by her parents, Roy and Sue Borse. Connie's greatest joy was her family which was demonstrated by her Sunday dinners and her festive family gatherings. Most meals were highlighted by her world famous perogies. She cherished every moment with her grandchildren and seized every opportunity to be with them and Gran , therefore was a great part of their lives. Connie loved cross stitching and making porcelain dolls. The pride and effort she put into her work can be seen in her own home as well as the homes of her children. In her younger years she enjoyed roller skating and competed in many roller dance competitions. She also loved to travel and her and Skeeter enjoyed many trips to Mexico as well as a cruise. Connie will be especially remembered for her kindness to everyone, her innocence and her incredible ability to love unconditionally. We'll miss you Mom. The family extends their gratitude to the wonderful staff at the Victoria Hospital 5th floor. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 6 at 2:00 p.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or Juvenile Arthritis Association - Connie's last gift to her loved ones.
