Condolences & Memories (8 entries)

  • It's 14 years since Bruce died and of course life goes on but the void is ever present and the loss remains tragic, especially for his daughters. What a father they missed out on having, what great times together we all missed out on having. - Posted by: Karen (Sister) on: Apr 24, 2019

  • My condolences to his wife, children and family for your loss. I am saddened to hear of Bruce's passing. He was always such a sweet guy and had a smile that could light up a room. • Just reading here as I do from time to time and felt compelled to say thanks again for the tributes to Bruce and the condolences to our family. I miss Bruce and the times we're missing out on and hate the changes his death made in our family. It's just what happens I guess. - Posted by: Karen (sister) on: Apr 04, 2013

  • I met Bruce in junior high, every girl had a crush on him, yes including me and my friend. We used to go to the store and buy him gum, we new he loved gum and he was always so cute when he thanked us for it. I would see him periodically thru the years and he remained the same sweet guy! Lucky is the girl who would one day be his wife, I would say to my friend. When I heard of his untimely passing, my heart ached for his family. How awful to lose a son, brother, husband, father, and all around great guy. I never knew of anyone who did not like him! It is only recently I found his Obit due to my Mom's passing! If she has the pleasure of meeting him in heaven she too will like him a lot! My sincere condolences to all his family for their great loss! God Bless. • Thank you Paula and Tara, and anyone else who ends up sending a tribute to Bruce. I am Bruce's sister and will make sure that my parents see the messages. I will also save them for his daughters to read when they get a little older. Although this is an extremely sad and difficult time for all of us, the kind words and thoughts of friends mean so much. - Posted by: Karen Roy (Family) on: May 10, 2005

  • My deepest condolences to his wife, children and family for your loss. Being married myself now, with two children of my own, I can't begin to imagine the pain you must be going through at a time like this. I was so sad to hear of Bruce's passing. I knew Bruce for quite a few years when I lived in Vancouver . I was fortunate enough to have spent many happy times with him. Bruce was a loving, caring and always positive person, with whom I feel lucky to have known and have been able to call my friend. • I would like to pass on my condolences to all the family, on their loss. I new Bruce from school, and hockey, and saw him frequently when I would drop off the newspaper. Like many others, we lose contact with the people we grew up with. We just seem to move on, look for new challenges and start to build a family for ourselves. I'd never forgotten Bruce, and I never will. God Bless................... My prayers are with you all at this difficult time.
