Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWINNIFRED SEALES Peacefully, at home on Friday, April 29, 2005, Winnifred Seales passed away at the age of 89 years. Wynne will be sadly missed by her sister Freda; nieces, Erla (Fred) Frame, Janice (Lloyd) Samec and their families and extended families. Wynne was predeceased by her parents, Catherine and Charles; sisters, Annie Maude, Alice; brother-in-law Earl McDougall; nephew Ronald and great-nephew Mark Frame. Wynne was born in Miniota, MB and went to school in Isabella. In 1935 she moved to Portage la Prairie. During the war she worked at #7 Air Observer's School. In 1945 she was employed at the Portage la Prairie Mutual Insurance Company and in 1952 she moved to Winnipeg where she worked for General Accident Assurance Company from 1953 to her retirement in 1980. Travelling with family and friends was her passion and she enjoyed numerous trips within Canada as well as Alaska, United States and England. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 9 in Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donatons may be made in memory of Wynne to the Osteoporosis Society of Canada, 870 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3G 0P1, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, or the charity of one's choice.
