Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARMAND SCHAUBROECK Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, Armand passed away at Victoria Hospital on May 4, 2005. Armand was called home to his Lord and Saviour. He leaves to mourn, his loving wife of 56 years, Florence (nee Linn); children, Guy (Sharon) and Michele; grandsons, Raymond (Charlene), Jeff (Laura) and Gary (Bonnie); great-grandsons, Alex, Russel, Samuel, Nicholas and Justice; brothers and sisters, Maurice (Pat), Denis (Lorraine), Gilles (Eleanor), Florence Simard, Sister Rachel Schaubroeck, Eveline (Oscar Lagace), Normand (Rose), Gertrude (Laurent Gagne), Juliette Cayer and Camile (Denise) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Archie and Therese Comeau; and brothers-in-law, Gabriel Simard and Homer Cayer and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Armand was born August 3, 1925 in LaSalle, MB and raised on the Schaubroeck family homestead. He worked in the dairy industry for Crescent Creamery and Beatrice Foods for 42 years. He was a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus 1107. After retirement he was involved with the Manitoba Agricultural Museum in Austin, MB and enjoyed woodworking. The Schaubroeck family sends a very special thanks to Dr. J. B. Sharkey and to the staff on Unit 3 North of Victoria Hospital for all their extraordinary care and compassion and to Rev. Dr. Patrick Morand and Fr. John Mackenzie for the wonderful care provided to both Armand and his family. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 9 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vital Roman Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Hwy. Interment will follow in LaSalle. Flowers gratefully declined, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Armand's memory to the Victoria Hospital Foundation or a charity of choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
