Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN CHESTER 1923 - 2005 Peacefully on April 30, 2005 at the Health Science Centre, John Chester passed away at the age of 81 years. John was born in Transcona to Robert and Ethel Chester on May 5, 1923. He grew up in a large family of brothers and sisters and attended school in Transcona. For most of his life John was self-employed in woodworking. He is survived by nieces and nephews, extended family members, friends and neighbours. Funeral service to be held on Tuesday, May 10 at 1:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Street with Rev. John Holmen officiating. Burial to follow at the Transcona Cemetery. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
