Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKENNETH MERLE CARTER After a lengthy battle of ill health, Ken Carter of Selkirk, passed away on May 5, 2005 at the Selkirk and District Hospital. Ken was born on January 11, 1934. He is survived and dearly missed by his wife Roberta; mother Doris; sons, Dale (Tanis) of Abbotsford, BC, Wade (Nadia) of Nizhnevartovsk, Russia and his grandchildren, Kenneth, Chelsey, Bogdan and Brittny; brother Barry (Lynn) of Lac du Bonnet and niece Diana. Ken was predeceased by his father Jim in 1993. Ken, a long time resident of Selkirk was an employee of the Town of Selkirk, Recreation Department until he retired. His witful personality will be missed by all who knew him. A special place in his heart was for his dog, Missy. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Selkirk and District Hospital for the fine care Ken had received through his years of illness. In compliance with Ken's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ken's favorite charity, the Kids Fishing for a Cure in Selkirk.
