ELVA JEAN GILLESPIE Peacefully on Saturday, May 7, 2005 at Grace General Hospital, Elva passed away after a brief struggle with cancer. Elva was predeceased by her parents, Alice and Vern; and her brother Ross. She will be sadly missed by her brother Ray (Virginia), sister-in-law Carol, nephew Ken (Joan), nephew Craig (Wendy) and family, niece Laura and family, uncle Earl (Joyce), cousin Bonnie, close family friends Peter and Shirley, and other friends and relatives. The family would like to thank the staff at Grace hospital for their care and compassion during this difficult time. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 10 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
