BERNICE WASKUL Suddenly on Saturday, May 7, 2005, Bernice Waskul passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 64. She is lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Tami Ward and Pamela Kirby and her husband Ben; four grandchildren, Dylan, Michael (Stacey), Destiny (Carlos) and Brendan and one great-grandson Denzel. She will also be missed greatly by her best-friend Janice Dilk. She was predeceased by her parents Mike and Helen Waskul. Bernice was born in Sundown, MB in 1940, the remsecond-youngest of 12 siblings. She grew up on the farm in Sundown moving to Winnipeg when she was 19 years old. Bernice loved her family and devoted much of her time to it. She was especially fond of her four grandchildren and spending time with them was the only thing she loved more than cooking for them. Affectionately known to most as Baba , she treated nearly everyone like family and loved to cook for all at many gatherings and family functions. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 10, between 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 11, at 2:00 p.m. also in Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Wischert, Ron Whitford, Jason Collins, Wayne Tremblay, Fern Henderson and Carlos Thompson. THOMSON FUNERAL HOME 669 Broadway 783-7211
