Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH (BESSIE) HELEN CHAPMAN (nee VIALOUX) Peacefully, with her family at her side, on May 6, 2005 at Grace Hospital Elizabeth (Bessie) Helen Chapman, aged 93 years, widow of the late Alfred J. Chapman, and daughter of the late Helen Hall and Montague Vialoux, passed away. Bessie was born in 1912. She received her education in Charleswood and attended Success Business College. For many years prior to her marriage she was employed at Hudson's Bay House. Predeceased by her husband Alfred in 1975, brothers, Ernest and Talbot Vialoux; sister Mary in infancy; and nephew William, she leaves to cherish her memory several nieces and nephews and their families, Montague Vialoux (Jean), Donald Vialoux (Jan), Heather Vialoux, Joanne Hathaway (David), James Vialoux (Susan), Robert Vialoux, Ronald Vialoux, Douglas Vialoux (Pat) and Helen Vialoux, as well as stepchildren and their families. Bessie was a lifelong and active member of St. Mary's Anglican Church, Life Member of the Charleswood Horticultural Society, Charter Member of Friendship Chapter #67, Order of the Eastern Star and Honourary Member of the Charleswood Historical Society. Over the years she derived a great deal of pleasure through her various associations, gardening, University seniors' classes, bridge, travel, church and friends and had the distinction of having lived her entire life on the same property. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11 at St. Mary's Anglican Church, Roblin and Haney with the Rev. Gordon Dixon officiating. If friends so wish, donations may be made to the Memorial Fund of St. Mary's Anglican Church, 3830 Roblin Blvd., Winnipeg, MB R3R 0E4 or to a charity of one's choice.
