Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNIE RUDYK (nee SEMOTIUK) Annie Rudyk passed away on May 7, 2005 at the age of 85, surrounded by her loving family. Annie leaves to mourn her passing, children, Margaret (Ken) Rusak, Sandra (Doug) Becker, John (Donna) Rudyk; seven grandchildren, Alissa, June, Kim, Charles, Sherril, Laurin and Kristen; two great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Madalin; brothers and sisters, Doris, Nellie, Helen, Peter, Andrew and nieces and nephews. Annie was predeceased by her husband Alex, parents, John and Mary Semotiuk; twins in infancy; brother George and brothers-in-law, Bill and Grant. Annie was born in Winnipeg on December 13, 1919 and moved to Fisher Branch as a small child. Where she met and married Alex on October 13, 1940 where they raised their family. Family was regarded as most important and special to Annie. She was known for her generosity and hospitality. Opening her home and cooking for everyone who came to visit. Annie was employed as a cook at Fisher Branch hospital and for many years at Percy E. Moore hospital, obtaining her certificate in food services. Special thanks to doctors C. Andreas, R. Jorbert, Mary, Sharon, Marlene and Linda O. for your professional care and support and to homecare workers, Karen and Bob Schreyer. Also special thanks to sister-in-law, Donna, Auntie Nellie and Uncle Andrew for being there to help our mother. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire, a donation in Annie's memory may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Fisher Handi-Van in Fisher Branch. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 10 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church in Fisher Branch. Fr. Peter Chorney will be officiating.
