MAGNUS HANSEN On Sunday, May 8, 2005 at Lions Personal Care Home, Magnus Hansen passed away at the age of 95 years. Magnus was born March 14, 1910 in Denmark and immigrated to Canada in 1939. He was employed by Domtar for a number of years then for Motorways. He was a resident at Lions Personal Care Home for a few years. Magnus was a member of the Scandinavian Centre in Winnipeg and a strong supporter of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church. He enjoyed playing Canasta with his friends, helping out at the church and loved gardening. He leaves to cherish his memory his grandson Geoff MacMillan and son-in-law Brian MacMillan. He was predeceased by his adopted daughter Roslyn in 2002. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 11, at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 600 Minto St. Donations in Magnus' memory may be made to a charity of choice or Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, R3G 2R1.
