Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHERMAN SCHEIRICH July 24, 1929 - May 10, 2005 Passed away peacefully with his family at his side at St. Boniface Hospital, on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at the age of 75 years. Predeceased by his wife of 50 years Hazel; parents, Peter and Marianna; and granddaughter Crystal. Survived by wife Mary; son Darrell (Marilyn); daughters, Wendy (Joe), Wanda (Arch), Carolyn and Tena (Randy). Also brother Frank (Marie) and sister Rose. Grandchildren, Jeffrey (Ally), Darilyn (Justin), Troy, Chantal, Johnathon, Ryan, Bert, Belinda, Joseph and Julianna. Herman was born and raised in Saskatchewan. He dedicated over 40 years to his beloved railway career at CPR, starting at age 14. Herman enjoyed his life fully, including his family, friends, vacations and especially his cottage and retirement home at Lee River (summer) and in Texas (winter). Special thanks to 5E at St. Boniface Hospital for their kind patience at this difficult time. A celebration of Herman's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 12 at the Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint) with a reception to follow.
