BLANCHE MARIE SISKA (TARDIFF) Born in South Junction, MB on November 20, 1927. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our dearly beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her last peaceful moments she spent quietly with her family at her bedside. Blanche's gentle spirit ascended to heaven in the early morning hours of May 9, 2005 at Rosewood Lodge in Stonewall, MB. Blanche was predeceased by her son Ronald; mother Lea; father Alexis; step-mother Florence; sisters, Mary and Corinne; and brother Henry. She leaves to mourn her loving husband Joseph, of 56 years; their children, Barbara, Loretta (Tim), Brenda (John), Rhonda (Randy), Dennis and Flo; grandchildren, Shawnna, Michael, Nicholas, Martin, Melissa, Charleen, Thomas, Adele, Ashley, and great-granddaughter Callie. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff of Rosewood Lodge for all they have done for Blanche. Cremation has taken place and a funeral mass will be held on Friday, May 13 at 2:00 p.m. at Christ the King Church, 315 2nd St. East in Stonewall, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Blanche's memory to the Alzheimer Society. A private family interment will take place later at Argyle Cemetery.
