Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRENE CYNTHIA CUTLER Peacefully and with dignity, after a lengthy illness, Irene Cutler passed away on May 7, 2005 at the age of 86 years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Irwin Cutler, and her brothers, Sidney Kobrinsky and Paul Corbin. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Neil (Janet) Cutler and Janine Cutler (Marvin Brodsky) of Winnipeg; her grandchildren, Saara Greene (John Parkinson) and Mara Greene (Michael Scott) of Toronto, Jonathan Greene of Kingston, and Jeremy and Aaron Cutler of Winnipeg. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Sam Parkinson and Duncan Scott; her sister Freda Shankman of Denver; brother-in-law Harry Kotlarsky of Ottawa; and nephews and nieces. Irene was born in Winnipeg to Nathan and Anna Kobrinsky. She lived on her parents' farm in North Kildonan before moving to Winnipeg. She lived briefly in the early years of her marriage in Steinbach and Killarney, MB and thereafter in Winnipeg. Irene was a supportive wife and mother and loyal friend. She enjoyed a special relationship with each of her grandchildren. A graveside service was held at the Shaarey Zedek Cemetery on Tuesday, May 10. Her pallbearers were her grandchildren, her nephew Joel Kobrinsky of Winnipeg and her stepgrandson David Brodsky of Minneapolis. Flowers are gratefully declined but if friends so desire, donations can be made to a charity of their choice in Irene's memory. The family wishes to thank Dr. Hugh Smith and the entire staff at the Sharon Home for their compassion and excellent care.
