Today, like every other day, I was thinking about you and missing you and Mom. Next month I will be turning 50, can you believe it .. 50! I cannot help but wonder how different the celebration would be if the two of you were here with me. More often than not I pick up my phone thinking I need to share a moment with you or ask you if you'd heard about this or that or just to hear your voices. I love you both, today, tomorrow, always. Dad You and Mom are in my thoughts daily and my prayers nightly. Nine years since that horror day and Ten years since we got the call about Mom. I have replayed each moment in my mind wishing each time that I the outcome would be different. Tears dry by love never fades. I dedicate every success I have to both you and Mom for it was your teachings that have made me into the women I am today. Love You and Miss you both! - Posted by: Colleen Fitzpatrick (Daughter) on: May 10, 2014

Dad, here it is 7 years since the terrible day that took you from us. A day in which I never forget and replay over and over. I prayed to God asking him to take me instead of you, but he did not listen. I know you were missing Mom and know that you are both happy and reunited. Missing you both every day, wishing I could pick up the phone and call you, share a joke, talk about the weather and ask 'what's for dinner?'. No one knows how difficult the past 7 years have been for me, because I (like always) have tried to have a smile on my face. Never forget that I love you and Mom with all of my heart. You were both amazing mentors for whom I shape my life. Until the day we meet again, I love you Dad and Mom xox - Posted by: Colleen Fitzpatrick (Daughter) on: Sep 13, 2012
