Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANK MARSINIUK On Wednesday, May 4, 2005 at the Selkirk General Hospital, Frank Marsiniuk passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Frank was predeceased by his parents, Jan and Palagi; brothers, Adam, Nick and Adolf; and one sister Elizabeth Dubyts. He is survived by his brothers, Philip (Ella), Peter and Joe; and one sister Helen Ponevas, and numerous nieces and nephews and their families. Frank was born on March 29, 1918 at the homestead at Okno, MB. He lived there and farmed most of his life with a few other ventures. He lived with his brother Adam until the late 90's when they retired from farming and moved to Arborg, MB. He later moved to the Tutor House Care Home in Selkirk on March 22, 2005, he was there only ten days before he ended up in the Selkirk Hospital. The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to Dr. R. Lindenschmidt and the nurses who did all that was possible to make him comfortable, and especially Henry Ponevas who spent the last three nights and JoAnne Ponevas and Alfred for the day time. A funeral service will be held on May 14 at 2:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Arborg, and a viewing will be held a half an hour prior to the service. Tom Read officiating. Interment to follow at the Okno Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Okno Cemetery in care of secretary and treasurer Allan Janower. MacKenzie Funeral Home (Arborg) in care of arrangements.
