Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMELBA TREW (nee MAURER) Peacefully, on Wednesday, May 11, 2005, Melba Trew passed away at the Victoria General Hospital at the age of 95 years. Melba was predeceased by her husband Robert Trew who passed away January 15, 1989 at the age of 78 years. Melba is survived by four nieces, Susan Simms of Boca Raton, FL; Glenda Jones of Calgary, AB; Lillian Rodgers of Nanaimo, BC; and Beverley Urbanovich of Winnipeg; two nephews, Blake Whittleton of Sanford, MB and Clifford Whittleton of Grimshaw, AB; and by her dear friend Tom Dunn of Winnipeg, MB. Cremation has taken place and a service of remembrance will be held on Monday, May 16 at 1:00 p.m. Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway, Winnipeg with the Rev. David Murata officiating.
