AUDREY EVELYN JACKSON (nee HOLLINGSHEAD) After a courageous battle with cancer, Audrey passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side, May 11, 2005. Audrey was born January 10, 1927 in Ontario. Predeceased by her sister Doris Wilson; brothers, Frank and Fred Hollingshead. Mom leaves to cherish her memories the love of her life, husband Ted of 50 years; son Scott and daughter-in-law Heather of Texas; daughter Susan and granddaughters, Jennifer and Colleen of Winnipeg; grandchildren, Jessica, Barbara, Robbie and great-grandson Elijah of Texas; son-in-law Earl Lamirande; niece Wendy Zimmerman and husband Bob; sisters-in-law, Honor Hollingshead of Florida and Vera McLaren of Victoria, BC. Mom enjoyed the company of her many friends while involved in the Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, Patrol Unit and the Khartum Ladies Auxiliary. We wish to extend our thanks to all the staff that were part of Mom's care at the St. Boniface Cancer Clinic, and Dr. Garcia and the Palliative Care Nurses, Maria and Harriet who helped us care for Mom at home. Special thank you to all of our family and friends for their loving support. In keeping with Mom's wishes, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The St. Boniface Hospital Research Foundation or to a charity of one's choice in Audrey's memory.
