Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHILDA (JOPLIN) JUNOD Born January 3, 1918, in Winnipeg MB, passed away May 7, 2005 in Langley, BC. Lovingly remembered by her children, Michelle Bishop, James, Marlene Felsing and Paul; niece, Valerie Anderson (Dugald, MB); ten grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and her many cherished friends. Her beloved husband Louis predeceased Hilda in 1981. Hilda grew up in Winnipeg and married Louis in 1942. They moved to Toronto in 1944 and returned to Winnipeg in 1948. Hilda and Louis remained in Winnipeg until 1959, when they moved to North Vancouver (Lynn Valley). Hilda moved to Langley in 1993, where she happily spent the rest of her life. Hilda devoted many hours of service at Evergreen House (Lions Gate Hospital), Explorers and UCW at Lynn Valley United Church, UCW at Langley United Church and other volunteer work. Donations may be made in Hilda's memory to the B.C. Lung Association or Langley Memorial Hospital. Funeral service will be held at Langley United Church, 5673 - 200 Street, Langley, BC at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 16 followed by Tea in the Church Hall and interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby at 2:00 p.m. Personal Alternative Funeral Services 604-857-5779.
