As close family friends, we spent lots of time on the Smith farm. One of my fondest childhood memories is of a winter day. Glen had a very special dog which he would harness to a toboggan. We spent the entire afternoon exploring the snowy river bank with the dog pulling me and Glen running along beside. He really loved his special pets. Although Glen was my older brother's age, he always made me feel welcome. Our thoughts and prayers are with Glen and with his family at this sad time.
