Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN STANLEY SITARZ January 15, 1927 - May 2, 2005 Peacefully, our brother passed away at Hospice General Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta, with his family at his side. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Mona (Tim) Kuntz and Arlene; sons, Larry and Johnny; and granddaughters, Alisa and Serena; sisters, Frances (John) Zinnick, Kay (Walter) Sych, Anne (Mike) Lucko and Mary Hammerling; brothers, Edward (Dolores), Tony (Pat), Charles (Florence), Joseph (Beverly); numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife Frances, his parents and brothers Casimer and Walter. Born in Melrose, MB, John left home at the age of 17. His first job was on a C.N. dining car as a waiter. He later travelled to Edmonton and Fort McMurray to pursue work on the pipelines. John spent many summers back home. His last visit home was September 2004 to enjoy an early Thanksgiving dinner at Joe and Bev's. Memorial service was held at the Memories Funeral Chapel, Friday, May 6. Fr. Bob Cornell officiated. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Edmonton, AB. Eternal rest, grant unto him, Oh Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him.
