He will also be missed by his great-grandchildren, Christian, Willem and Ty; along with his large extended family and many friends. Albert was born in Poland to Christian and Wanda Wagner. Albert served with the Princess Patricia Light Infantry of the Canadian Armed Forces from 1944 to 1946. He then worked at Canada Packers where he met his wife Grace Plomp. Albert and Grace were married on April 23, 1949 and had a long and happy marriage. Most of his working years were spent as an owner/operator of Wagner Brothers' Service Station along with his brother Ron. He was a man of integrity and conducted his business transactions with his good word and a handshake. Albert was a loving husband, a wonderful father and grandfather and a loyal and trusted friend. He was a life long member of the Lutheran Church. Upon retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at his farm in Libau as well as hunting and fishing with his long time friend, Don Marsch. The family wishes to extend sincerest thanks to Jack and Pat and all the staff at Kildonan Personal Care Home. Their loving care and kindness are very much appreciated.
