JOSEPHINE MARIANN KSIONZEK Peacefully on May 12, 2005 at the St. Joseph's Personal Care Home, Josephine Ksionzek, aged 93 years, of Winnipeg Beach, MB. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph (1987); parents, Bartholomew (1953) and Mary (1951); son Norman (1936); brothers, Karl (1982), John (1947), Louis (1990) and Phillip (1960); and sisters, Annie (1938), Barbara (1995), Kathleen (2000) and Isabelle (1985). Left surviving are daughters, Deanna (Doug) Wilson and Linda (Leonard) Zelenitsky; granddaughters, Pamela (Kevin) Boyd and Amanda (Korey) Asher; grandsons, Darcy Wilson and Chad Zelenitsky; great-grandchildren, Jacey and Brooke Lynn Boyd; sister-in-law Olga and many nieces and nephews. Josephine was born and raised in Komarno, married Joseph in 1929 and they lived at Matlock until moving to Winnipeg Beach in 1946. She has resided at the St. Joseph's Personal Care Home in Winnipeg for the last five years where she received excellent care from the staff. She enjoyed bingo, playing cards and cooking. She enjoyed family gatherings and always made sure everyone got lots to eat. Prayers will be said on Sunday, May 15 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Funeral service will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. also in the chapel with burial to follow at the Holy Rosary Cemetery, Winnipeg Beach. Her grandchildren will be her pallbearers.
