MILDRED RITCHIE (nee KRYSCHUK) Peacefully, May 13, 2005 at Concordia Hospital, Mildred passed away after a courageous battle with a debilitating stroke. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Richard (Sharon), daughter Joan (Jerry) Kolynchuk and grandchildren Jennifer (Jay) Ritchie-Burton, Lynn (Jeff) Clark and Lisa (Gene) Lecuyer. She is also survived by brothers Walter Kryschuk (Angele) and Jack Christie (Pat). Mildred will also be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Ernie, parents Stephen and Stella Kryschuk, brothers Tony, Frank, Kazmir and lifelong friend Stella Wachal. Mildred was a loving, giving soul who could not do enough for her family and friends. She was an avid gardener who had a genuine green thumb and could not resist planting another slip, which she would develop into a beautiful flower in her beloved garden. Mildred was extremely proud of her three granddaughters and their personal accomplishments. Gram and her granddaughters shared a mutual and loving relationship. There were many unforgettable times spent with her and Grampa visiting, laughing, camping, playing, cooking, planting and most of all enjoying each other's company. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 16 at 10:30 a.m at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Narol, MB. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be Norman Glass, Brian Kryschuk, Gary Kryschuk, Dr. Ron Kryschuk, Gene Lecuyer and Jim Ritchie. Honorary Pallbearers are Bernie Babynek, Ernie Lewicki, Walter Kryschuk, Walter Peterson and Ed Wachal. The family wishes to express their thanks for the wonderful care given by the NE3 staff of Concordia Hospital. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made in Mildred's memory to the Corpus Christi Church Building Fund, Narol, Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
