MARIE BOUCHARD (nee GRIMARD) Peacefully, on her own terms, and with her sons, fiance, family and friends by her side, Marie went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 13, 2005. Left to honour her memory are her sons Robert (Eddi), Rheal and Darren; grandchildren Cami, Jason and Sara; fiance Louis Coveney; sisters Alma (Ernie) Braschuk, Madeleine (Joe) Lorteau, Yvonne (Dave) Hadaller, Lucie Nicolas and Diane (Don) Graham; brother Pierre (Marguerite) Grimard; many nieces and nephews, friends and her Christian family. Marie was predeceased by her parents Albini and Therese Grimard, brother Jean Grimard and brothers-in-law Lucien Poiron and George Nicolas. Marie, whose second home was her church, was involved in too many volunteer projects to list. She worked tirelessly and gave her time willingly to make a better world, not only for people she knew, but for anyone who was in need. Her time spent on earth made a difference! Marie's chosen profession was a Caregiver. She was very fond of crafts, and enjoyed woodworking. She believed that when you left somewhere, you should always leave it better then when you first arrived, and when it came to fixing carpentry, electrical or plumbing problems, she was there to help. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and took a special interest in her niece and nephew, Reanne and Jeremie, who thought of her like a grandmother. She will be deeply missed and forever loved by those whose lives she touched. Viewing with family and friends will take place on Sunday, May 15 at 6:00 p.m. at Christian Family Centre, 81 Henderson Hwy. In accordance with Marie's wishes, cremation will follow and a memorial service will take place on Monday, May 16 at 9:00 a.m. also at Christian Family Centre. A special thank you is extended to the staff at Health Sciences Centre, C.C.U. and M.I.C.U, and to Pastor Elton and Anna DaSilva. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Marie Bouchard Memorial Kitchen Project, c/o Christian Family Centre, 81 Henderson Hwy, Winnipeg, MB, R2L 1L2. Upon completion, a dedication of the new kitchen in her honour will take place. The sons would like to express their sincere appreciation to the church for naming this new kitchen in her honour.
