Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANN SIMCOE November 26, 1923 - May 15, 2005 It is with sorrow and sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of their beloved sister, aunt and friend Ann Simcoe on Sunday, May 15, 2005. Ann was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Sophie Simcoe; her brother Steven Simcoe; and partner Don Sutherland. Ann is survived by her brother Peter Simcoe (Donna); and sisters, Mary, Katherine Helps (Clifford) and June Rae (Gerry); as well as many nieces and nephews; and special friend Millie Borkowski. Ann was born on November 26, 1923 and grew up in Tyndall, MB. She spent her earlier years as a waitress and retired to the Transcona neighbourhood she loved. Ann was an enthusiastic gardener who always shared her prolific crop with her family and friends. She was especially proud of her tomatoes and spent countless hours making salsa and spaghetti sauce for everyone to enjoy. She was an excellent cook known for her perogies, perishke, pickles and desserts. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will follow at a later date.
