Date of Passing: May 14, 2005
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGLEN RICHARD JAMES HRYCUK Suddenly on May 14, 2005, Glen was taken from us. He leaves behind his loving partner in life Crystal, they shared so much in such a short time; his mother Gail; sister Linda (Paul); grandmother Emma; uncle Rod; auntie Lil Smith, great-niece Alissa; niece Jessica and nephews, as well as a whole lot of cousins and friends. He leaves us all behind to carry the love we have for him to join his sister Marilyn Hrycuk and father Glen Henry Hare. May you rest in peace. You will be sadly and deeply missed by everyone that came in contact with you, your helpful heart, gentle touch, goofy sense of humour, and smile will always burn in our minds and hearts. You may be gone but not alone. You've taken a bit of us along. Sleep well, we'll be together again. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 18 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Cremation to follow. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044

Where can I start oh boy. I loved my Uncle so much. He was there for us including my grandma. He is a very hard worker for his job. We had bonded over the years, what can I say he was a father like. I could remember that he took me to my first hockey game back in 2004. A few notes that I could remember is that I went to his place for a few weekends. I also remember that he knows how to keep the family happy he will even take my grandma myself and my sister to another part of the city like we never been to. Now on the saddest day was May 14th 2005 all I could remember is that he was fine that day OK my Uncle dropped me and my grandma off at a local Zellers and my sister and his love partner Crystal went to help her mom and he told us that he would return @ 8:00pm and give us a ride home. 8:00 comes he was not there. Both my grandma waited about 25mins then this woman comes out and asks my grandma if her name was Gail n she says yes. The lady told us that your son has been rushed to the hospital and I could remember was my grandma was like what happened? Then we were at the hospital all the family has shown up what the doc has told us that he had a heart attack and it hurt our family but my grandma was hurt the most she walked to the bed and gave him a hug and I swear that she was crying almost for about 45 mins well lets say the whole night when we got home. You will never be forgotten You will be loved forever You are in our hearts I LOVE you Uncle Glen!!! - Posted by: Kenneth Hrycuk (Nephew) on: Apr 19, 2014

I'm shocked to hear of this. We were good friends for years until I moved out of the area. You came to visit a few times then we lost touch. Rest in peace my friend - Posted by: Melissa (Friend) on: Feb 25, 2014
