Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLUCY DRAWSON (nee KULIKOWSKI) The family of Lucy Drawson, of Lac du Bonnet, MB, sadly announces her passing on Monday, May 16, 2005, two days before her 93rd birthday. Lucy came to Poplar Bay as a three year old where her mother and father, Anna and Adam Kulikowski, began to homestead. She married George Drawson in 1932. They moved to Bird River where the Drawson family were pioneers. Later, George and Lucy moved from Bird River to Poine du Bois and then to Lac du Bonnet when George retired from City Hydro. George and Lucy were married until his passing in 1990. Lucy leaves behind her beloved son Gordon (Margaret); grandsons, Gregory (Krista) and Gary (Alanna); and her four great-grandchildren, Erin, Morgan, Connor and Lia. She is also survived by sisters, Emma Hrychaney of Lac du Bonnet and Selma Putrus of Vancouver, BC; brothers, John and August Kulikowski of Lac du Bonnet. She was predeceased by her parents; sister Wilma Drawson; and brothers, Carl and George. A funeral service will be held at the Lutheran Church of the Cross, 253 McArthur Ave., Lac du Bonnet, MB Thursday, May 19 at 11:00 a.m. Lucy's nephews will be her pallbearers.
