RUTH ROSE URBANOWICH

Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRUTH ROSE URBANOWICH Peacefully on May 16, 2005 at Charleswood Care Centre, Ruth passed away at the age of 89. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother Nick Urbanovich of Winnipeg; sisters, Mary Stefnik of Hammond, Indiana, Pollyne Paulson of Chilliwack, BC and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by parents, Michael and Olena; brothers, William, Tony, Michael and sister Ann. Ruth was born in Fisher Branch, MB and helped out in the farm in her teen years. She moved to Winnipeg and lived on McMillan Avenue for over 40 years. She worked at Eatons and Federated Co-op and retired early to care for her mother. Ruth loved music and horse racing. For the past five years, she resided at the Charleswood Care Centre where everyone loved her and she was known as a sweet, kind lady. A service of remembrance will be held on Thursday, May 19 at 10:00 a.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Interment will take place at Thomson In the Park Cemetery. We wish to express our sincere thanks to the staff at the Grace Hospital and especially to the Charleswood Care Centre for five years of outstanding personal care. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ruth's memory to the Alzheimer Society, 105 - 386 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3R6.
