MERVIN PHILLIPS DUNCAN Our beloved dad and grandpa passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at the age of 79 years. He was predeceased by his wife Alvina; parents, John and Lillie; brothers, Doug, Orville and his sister Audrey. Mervin is survived by his six children, Gayle, Gary (Cindy), Gloria (Paul), Greg (Joanne), Glenna (Jeff), and Garth; his eight grandchildren, Kimberly (Marc), Gary Jr., Kyla, Scott, Ryan (Cheryl), Christopher, Matthew and David; also his two great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Jillian. Merv will be sadly missed by brothers, Maurice (Norma), Barry (Gertie) and Gordon; surrogate daughter Christine; numerous relatives, friends, colleagues and many others whose lives he touched. Special thanks to the Health Sciences Centre for the consideration and care given. Interment will take place at Brookside Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 20 with the memorial service to follow at 2:30 p.m. at Thomson Funeral Home 669 Broadway.
