Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHAROLD LEROY WILTON 1942 - 2005 We are saddened to announce the untimely passing of Harry Wilton on May the 18, 2005 at Lake of the Woods District Hospital Kenora, ON, following a four month determined battle with cancer. His wife Eileen was by his side. Harold was predeceased by his parents, Mel and Winnie Wilton; his brother Hugh; father-in-law Joe Hilhorst and sister-in-law Bonnie Hilhorst. He is survived by his wife Eileen (Hilhorst) and children, Shauna and Jeremy. Also to mourn his passing are his brother Garry and Dee Wilton; sisters, Janice and Arnold Hird, Debbie and Doug Sawka and sister-in-law Joyce Wilton. He will also be missed by his mother-in-law Madeline Hilhorst, sister-in-law Agnes and Glen Witherspoon, brothers-in-law, Walter and Sharon Hilhorst, Chuck Hilhorst and Tony Hilhorst, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. Harold was born in Glenboro, MB, May 26, 1942. He grew up on the family farm giving him a strong work ethic and sense of pride which he carried throughout his life. He graduated from Red River Community College, Winnipeg, with his Journeyman Electrician's Certificate. Shortly after, he moved to Kenora, ON where he was employed by Lake of the Woods Electric and remained there until the time of his passing. Harry thrived on the challenges of the trade and mentored many a young apprentice. He could always be counted on for a lively discussion on cars, politics, current events and sports. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 21 at 12:00 p.m. at the Kenora Community Funeral Home, 821 St. Clair St., Keewatin. Private family interment of ashes will take place on Tuesday, May 24 at the Glenboro Cemetery. Donations in Harry's memory may be made to the Glenboro Area Foundation, Box 147, Glenboro, MB R0K 0X0, or to the Bone Mineral Density Machine Campaign, Lake of the Woods District Hospital, in care of Woman's Auxiliary, 21 Sylvan St. West, Kenora, ON P9N 3Y7.
