A. W. (BILL) MOSS A. W. "Bill" Moss was born in Amherst, NS, on May 20, 1917. After studying at Dalhousie University he moved to Winnipeg and began his business career at Walter Woods Ltd., where he worked until retirement. Bill is survived by his wife Jean; his children, Kelly (Deanna), Terry (Susan), and Cathy (Charlie); grandchildren, Greg (Alison), Grant (Joan), Darren (Jennifer), Jamie, Brian, and Kelly; and great-grandchildren, Amy, Mark, Mackenzie, and Sydney. In 1944 Jean and Bill bought a cottage at Clearwater Bay. It has been a focal point for good times for 60 years - bringing the children and grandchildren back to visit and have fun. Bill was a co-founder of the Clearwater Bay Yacht Club in 1954 and he enjoyed sailing, golfing, curling and bridge. At Bill's request, the family will get together this summer at his cottage to celebrate his life. The family would like to thank the kind people at the Victoria Hospital and Central Park Lodge Parkview - 3rd floor unit for looking after A. W. the past six months. We would also like to thank the Manitoba Health Care System - who provided the many fine doctors and nurses and excellent staff for the services that added an extra 20 years to his life.
