LLOYD HARRISON Peacefully on May 17, 2005 at the Victoria General Hospital, Lloyd Harrison passed away with his family at his side. Lloyd is survived by his wife Wilma of 60 years; two daughters, Marjorie (Terry) Watling, Rhonda (Craig) Baxter; five grandchildren, Matthew, Shannon Watling; Bryce (Marie), Colin (Dana), Shane Baxter; his two sisters, Mildred Sweeney, Grace (Doug) Parr and many nieces and nephews. Lloyd was predeceased by his sisters, Rita Wells, Helen Sim, Kay Magarrell and his only brother Charlie. Lloyd was born in Cadillac, SK on June 2, 1918 and moved with his family to the Harrison Farm at St. Agathe, MB in 1927. In 1944 he married Wilma Clarke and they continued farming until 1963 when they moved to Winnipeg where Lloyd was employed by Co-Op Implements and later Kent Welding Gun. He retired in 1983 and spent his retirement years fishing, golfing, curling, gardening and enjoying his family and friends. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 24 at 1:30 p.m. in Fort Garry United Church, 800 Point Rd. at Lyon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association, 102 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6 or Fort Garry United Church, 800 Point Rd., Winnipeg, MB R3T 3L8.
