JULIA MAE BEDDOME Julia Mae Beddome passed away on May 19, 2005, at the age of 89. Remaining to cherish her memory are many cousins, friends and Church family. She was predeceased by her parents, Archie and Maggie McDonald and by her beloved brother, Joseph Stanley McDonald, who died while serving his country during the Second World War. Julia was born on January 5, 1916, in Edmonton, AB. She was the beloved wife of the late Percy Hine Beddome and the loving mother of the late Gary Beddome. After marrying the late Percy Beddome, Julia moved to Winnipeg where she worked for many years in the accounting office of Canada Safeway. She was a member of the Kildonan Legion and of St. Anthony's CWL and Leisure Club. Cremation has taken place and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 24 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 250 Burrin Ave., with Rev. Msgr. Michael Moore presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Julia's memory to St. Anthony CWL, 250 Burrin Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2V 1E5, or to Kildonan Legion, 1748 Main St., Winnipeg, MB.
