My sister Ann sent me Ernie's obituary. I have fond memories of visits in his home at Basswood when I played with Shirley. We were very young. My mother often made the poppy seed cake that she was given the recipe from Shirley's mother. Seeing the story of his life reminded me of happy times in the little village. - Posted by: Rilla Murchison (Acquaintance) on: May 25, 2005
