ANN ELIZABETH ADAM Passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital on May 19, 2005. Born in Merridale, MB to Harold and Betsy (nee Poyser) Belcher. She is survived by her children, John Alex, Rex (Cathy), Cynthia and Gordon; daughter-in-law, Janette; grandchildren, Tess and Will; brothers, John, Bill (Winnifred) and Tom (Irene) Belcher; sisters, Nell Rusk and Rosemarie Dykstra; and many dear nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her brother, Jim (Ruth); sister, Phoebe (Vivian); sister-in-law, Wilma and brothers-in-law, Cornelius and George. Ann served in the Canadian Armed Forces in the Second World War. She was a graduate of the United College, and taught school. Ann was also involved in community work, especially St. Paul's Church (where she received the Mary and Martha Award) and Middlechurch Home. Visitation will be offered at the Glen Eden Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 24 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will follow at the St. Paul's Middlechurch Anglican Church, 299 Balderstone Rd. on Wednesday, May 25 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow. Flowers gratefully declined, if desired donations can be made to the St. Paul's Middlechurch Anglican Church or to CancerCare Manitoba.
