ALFRED DAUBARAS At the end of a five year battle with cancer, Alfred "AL" Daubaras, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 31, 2005 at the home of his daughter, Lisa Saladin, in Charleston, SC. Al had a generous and loving spirit and will be deeply missed by his son David Daubaras and his wife Susan; his daughter Lisa Saladin (Daubaras) and her husband Michael; his sister Victoria Daubaras; his brother Henry Daubaras and his wife Peggy; his grandchildren, Matthew, Mark and Julia Daubaras; his nephew Darcy Daubaras and his wife Fiona; his nephew Peter Daubaras and his wife Lynn; his niece Shauna Dahl and her husband Arthur; his grandniece Molly Daubaras, his ex-wife Sally Slay, and his many friends. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Canadian Cancer Society. A memorial service was held Friday, April 1 at St. Luke's Chapel in South Carolina and a funeral mass will be held in Winnipeg on Friday, May 27 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette's Church, 820 Cottonwood Rd.
