OREST TARAS (TED) SISETSKI It is with deep sorrow that we have to announce the passing of Orest Taras (Ted) Sisetski on May 21, 2005, after a lengthy illness. Ted was predeceased by his father John; brothers, Robert and Victor. Ted leaves to mourn his loving wife of 48 years, Anna; sons, Mark (Linda) and Brian (Gwen); mother Tekiana; sister Shirley (John); sister-in-law Ethel; grandchildren, C.J. Lisa, Madelynn and many nieces and nephews. Ted was born in Wakaw, SK. He was raised in Ontario and later moved to Winnipeg with his wife Anna, in 1962. He worked for Manitoba Cartage and later Livingston Distribution Centre until his retirement. He enjoyed his time with his grandchildren. He loved the roses he grew in his garden. He was active in the community with Margaret Park Community Centre, now Vince Leah Recreation Centre, Seven Oaks Major Junior Hockey Club, Knights of Columbus, and the Leisure Club. We would like to thank the nurses and staff on the 4th and 5th floors of the Seven Oaks Hospital. Also a special thanks to Dr. Bhanot who made Dad's last days as comfortable as possible. Cremation has taken place and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 25 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua, 250 Burrin Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ted's memory to any charity of your choice.
