JEAN ELLCHUK Jean Ellchuk of Sandy Lake, MB passed away at the Sandy Lake Personal Care Home on Monday, May 23, 2005 at the age of 89 years. Jean is survived by her daughter Laverne Veilleux of Sandy Lake; sons, Ernie (Karen) Ellchuk of Airdrie, AB, Ken Ellchuk of Stony Mountain; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; five brothers and four sisters. The funeral service will be held at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church (Sandy Lake North), Sandy Lake, on Saturday, May 28 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Prayers will be said from the church Friday, May 27 at 8:30 p.m. Rev. Robert Kennaugh will officiate. If friends so desire donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, or St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, Sandy Lake, MB.
