Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHELEN MARKO On May 28, 2005 our beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother passed away peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital. She will be sadly missed by her husband Earne; son Shawn (Gae); daughter Melissa (Jason); granddaughter Dallas; as well as sisters, nieces, nephews and many friends. Helen was predeceased by her father Peter; her mother Mary; brothers, Peter, Rodney, and Donny; and a sister Dianne. Helen was born December 31, 1939. She grew up in the North End. She married Earne in 1968 and had two children that she loved very much. Despite her illness she fought to the very end. She loved being a stay-at-home mom so she would be with her children. She loved gardening, baking and cross word puzzles. Mom will always be remembered as a loving mother and wife. She had a very generous heart and would do anything for her children, along with anyone else that needed her. She will be remembered for her loving and kind ways. Mom will be sadly missed but never forgotten. She will always be in our hearts. (We love you mom and will miss you). In lieu of flowers donations in Helen's memory may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200-6 Donald St., Wpg., MB R3L 0K6 or Manitoba Lung Association, 2nd floor - 629 McDermot Ave., Wpg., MB R3A 1P6. Thank you Dr. Darcy Johnson (General Practitioner) and staff at the Concordia Hospital, along with the staff at St. Boniface Hospital. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 1 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler.
