Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE HELEN KELLER It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Anne Helen Keller of Winnipeg, on May 24, 2005 at the age of 94 years. Left to mourn her passing, her daughter Jean (Peter); sons, Gerry (Dorine) and Bruce; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rose, (Paul) and Beatrice (Henry). Anne was predeceased by her loving husband Adam; sister Kaye; brothers, Rudolph and John and daughter-in-law Joyce. Anne was born in Gimli, MB. Married Adam in 1930. Together they lived in various locations in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, finally settling in Winnipeg. As a youngster, she excelled in athletics and maintained an interest in sports throughout her life. Anne was a woman of courage and determination and despite her arthritic condition greeted each day with a cheerful smile. Her cooking was par excellence, nothing gave her more joy than to prepare a hearty meal for all who graced her table. She was a woman of integrity, good morals and lived her life according to good Christian values. She was kind, considerate and embraced all whom she met as friends. Just as the butterfly glides amongst the flowers gently touching, caressing each petal so has Anne touched her family and friends lovingly, tenderly. Our heartfelt appreciation is extended to the staff at Donwood Manor (2 South) Personal Care Home for the care and compassion given to Anne. In keeping with Anne's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Anne's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
