Mary in her early part of adult life along with her husband Fred, entered their entrepreneurial life in the retail food business in Prelate, SK and then after a few years, they became hotel owners in Kenora, ON where they managed the business until their retirement. Mary was a very compassionate and generous person. She loved to entertain family and friends at her home with home-cooked meals, which were all mouth watering.
