FRANCES WARYWODA (nee SWETZ) After a lengthy illness, our dear mother passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 26, 2005 at the Beausejour Hospital with her family at her side. Mom was born on October 14,1914 in Tyndall, MB. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her children, Joan (Mike) Murash, Paul (Gail) Warywoda, and Debbie (Rob) Lawson and her foster daughter Lori Allard; grandchildren, Barry and MaryGwen Murash, Jacqueline and Mo Bernard, Lee and Crystal Warywoda, Jamie Warywoda, Sheri and Mark Bjornson, Angie Anderson and William Shannon; her siblings, Nick Boznianin, Peter Swetz, Helen Shuel and Annie Kasperision; her special niece MaryJane Bezdzietny; and many nieces and nephews who were very dear to her. Her most recent pride were her great-grandchildren, Joey and Katie Warywoda and Mason and Myles Bernard. She was predeceased by her husband Mike; her daughter Shirley Mae Ehinger; parents, Joseph and Rosalie Swetz; brother Mike Boznianin; sisters, Julia Maslow and Mary Zalusky. Frances was a pillar in her community. She was never afraid to tackle a challenge. Her life was her family, her garden and her church. She was involved with the Eastdale Sts. Peter and Paul Church from its beginning to the time of its closure. Her main goal was to never let a priest go home after mass without being fed first. The family would like to thank her dear friend Effie Buchko for being there for mom, to her neighbours, friends, homemakers and special nurses who looked out for her and helped her when needed. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Barry Murash, Jacqueline Bernard, Lee Warywoda, Jamie Warywoda, Sheri Anderson, Mark Bjornson, Angela Anderson and William Shannon. Prayers will be said on Sunday, May 29 at 7:00 p.m. at the Sobering Funeral Chapel, Beausejour, MB. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at the Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church, Beausejour, at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 30 with Rev. Fr. Ihor Bloshchynskyy officiating.
