Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJULES (JOE) LAFERRIERE It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Dad, Grampsie and Great-Grandpa on Friday, May 13, 2005. He had 81 plus years of great physical and mental health and a fantastic sense of humour. Dad loved to work and in his early years he was employed by both CPR and CNR and saw much of the country working with the steel bridge gang. In 1960 our family moved to Winnipeg. From then until 1986 Dad was employed by the St. James Assiniboia School Division where he made many lasting friendships. Dad was a very special man. He was a positive person who was always Just right. . He enjoyed and respected people and was always first to lend a hand. He was a loving and affectionate family man. For the last 15 years Dad lived at the St. James Kiwanis where he found a new extended family. He was loved and respected by all who knew him. Dad was predeceased by an infant daughter Sheryl Dawn in 1948; the love of his life...his wife Elin in 1975 and his only son Terry in 2001. He is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Lauri (Doug) O'Larkin of Winnipeg, Bonnie (Paul) Boehm of Calgary; grandchildren, Derek (Cindy) LaFerriere of Winnipeg, Jodi (Jason) McAlduff of North Vancouver, Steven (Leslie) Fisette of Calgary, Russell (Sabrina) Fisette of Winnipeg and great-granddaughter Chloe Jules Fisette of Winnipeg. Cremation has taken place and in accordance with Dad's wishes, there will be no funeral. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Crossroads Hospice where Dad spent his final days.
