Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDR. ANTHONY (TONY) AUTY Tony died suddenly on May 20, 2005 with his loving wife of 33 years, Lorrie (Gauthier), by his side. Tony was 57. Adored father of Nicole (James) and Ashleigh, he was predeceased by his father Bill and father-in-law Bob and will be dearly missed by his mother Jean (Cherub), sister Jane Fallis (Andrew), nephews Chris and Simon (Amy), mother-in-law Betty Gauthier, sister-in-law Sandra Gauthier-Neil (Don) and the numerous friends, colleagues, and patients whose lives he also enriched. Born in Mexborough, South Yorkshire, England, Tony immigrated to Canada in 1972 after receiving his medical degree from St. Catherine's College, Oxford. Tony will be remembered as a devoted husband and father. Tony's greatest pleasures in life include time spent with his family, golfing, travelling, following Sheffield United football scores, and gardening, a hobby shared with his father Bill. During almost 30 years of his medical practise in Winnipeg, MB, Victoria, BC, and U.A.E., he earned admiration and respect through his kindness, his skills, and his dedication to his patients. Love you to bits DAD. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service to be held at 2:00 p.m. on June 4, 2005 at Thomson Funeral Home (204) 783-7211. Donations to the MS Society of Manitoba or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation would be appreciated.
